Zone.

A YouTube channel about the parts of American life that got paved over. Abandoned amusement parks, forgotten chains, the rituals of a generation nobody bothered to document.

The films.

Long-form video essays. Full production in DaVinci Resolve Studio: scripting, cinematography, color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics. Two early breakouts crossed 150,000 views, and the channel has since pivoted toward what I call memory archaeology.

Why memory
archaeology?

Everybody wants to document the big stuff. Elections, disasters, famous people dying. I'm more interested in the parts nobody thinks to write down. The layout of a Toys R Us at Christmas. The menu screen music on a rented DVD. The way the Scholastic book fair made us feel.

Most of what a generation actually lived through disappears without anyone noticing.
